I have a friend who just bought a TB 1.0Ghz Cpu. He told me that he overclocked it to 1.2Ghz without modify the voltage setting. Just wondering is that possible??
I remember reading somewhere that if you connect the L7 bridge, that automatically set the voltage at 1.85. Am i right?? He is using a MSI KT7 Pro-2A motherboard.

I dont think it can run that high at default volts mabey??? you dont need to do the L7 with a board that can set the volts in the bios

unless, somehow AMD let that chip slip through, i doubt it. they test all chips at default voltage, so the ones which can to 1.2 at 1.65V will be sold as 1.2. the ones which can't do i.2 are bumped down to 1.1, then to 1, then to 900mhz etc. until they find a speed that it's stable at with default(at least this is how i think they do it)
