Hi im wondering if overclocking would be possible for a geforce 2 MX200 cause I cant enable coolbits even though I tried to put the NVTweak folder on the registry and insert in "Coolbits" and seting to 3, I also tried to enable coolbits overclocking from the Geforce Tweak Utility, and still theres no menu, but theres one thing present on the GTU the "allow overclocking feature" it has a core speed and memory speed adjuster but would this work with the GeForce 2 MX200 with driver version 12.41. and also is it advisable to put heatsink on the memory of the graphics card if you overclocked it to higher boundaries?

Sure you can overclock using the 12.41 drivers, I wouldnt bother putting heatsinks on the memory. It seldom adds much benefit to begin with, and your never going to get the RAM on the MX200 to overclock to the point at which it might see any benefit to ramsinks anyway.

On non-WHQL nvidia drivers you can enable the overclocking utility by the "coolbits" reg entry. Once entered, you have to check the "allow clock frequency adjustments" box and reboot.

This should then allow you to change the core and memory frequencies of your Geforce card.

I'm not sure which drivers don't work with coolbits. I tend to use beta drivers which aren't WHQL certified.

Refer to this FAQ is you want to know more about overclocking your video card.
