is it possible to network a dial-up modem?

i have two computers with windows 2000 installed on both. one has a dial-up 56K modem. i use a linksys 5 port hub to share files, but how do i share the modem? is it even possible? thanks.

Yes it is absolutely possible... in fact it is the same as sharing a broadband connection (well almost the same)... just install and use Windows ICS that comes with win2k on the PC with the modem ... Since you already have the network setup, it is very easy to do...
