Is it possible to mod a laptop lcd display so that you can hook up it up to a gaming sysytem?

I want to be able to be able to take a playstation in a car or something like that without having to bring a tv in the car. Is it possible to mod an lcd to change the inputs on the lcd b/c i can get a 14" laptop lcd for like $100 off of ebay.
