Is it possible to "mix and match" wireless keyboards and mice?

Is it possible for me to have a Logitech LX710 wireless keyboard and use its usb wireless connector to connect the keyboard and a Logitech MX620 mouse all in usb reciever?

well, you might as long as the reciever for the LX710 was for a mouse as well. then you should be able to connect them together.

Yeah the LX 710 comes as a mouse and keyboard with one reciever I think...so it should be able to do it ?

I use a separate transmitter for the cordless mouse since I wasn't satisfied with the mouse that came with the cordless desktop (can't really buy a wireless keyboard only) and it works fine.

So you use one usb reciever for the mouse and another for the keyboard? Do you ever lose connection of one or both?

well each canuse its own reciever right?

i've used two wireless logitech mice on one pc with no problems.

Oh ok well that means I need to get a USB hub....btw does anyone know the dpi for the Logitech MX620? I cant find that info anywhere...

Well I called up Logitech and found out that the DPI is set to 800 which is fine for me but just in case is there a third party program that will alow me to increase the dpi?

DPI is a property of the actual hardware used. The best you could do is to tweak mouse acceleration settings.

I've used a 200hz rate for PS/2 wireless mice for years, and recently I found out about changing the USB rate. Both seem to make a difference in smoothness, especially with a better mouse. Just limit the USB tweak to 250hz (don't do 500hz for wireless).
