Is it possible to make a fan fit into a window?

I was wondering if anyone knows or has cut a circle in a window and then attached a fan to it. For example, look at this case http://www.designcomp.com/Metal_Cases/Avance/avance_CI7004D2.htm
Is it possible to make that window larger and still have the fan there?

Why wouldn't it be? Is mounting a fan on plexi any harder than on sheet metal?

i've done it before. My Case.

One reason I did it is so taht I can change fan position easily... Plexiglass is very easy to cut.
