All the guides i'v seen use the EZ crap or cdrwin which do no support my hp 9900ci combo drive w/ justlink. I just make coasters without it.

what do you have? an .iso?

if so, just go to file..burn image...then select the .iso

if not, you could try using Iso buster, to extract the image, then burn using NERO iso

is this what you're talking about?

Yes you can. It's pretty easy if you following the wizard and appy the required settings already mentioned in the guide for making a bootable cd w/ CDRwin (i.e., Publisher name). Make sure you select "no emulation".

Did you read this one?
http://www.windowsxp.nu/bootcd/

This worked for me using CDRwin to make an iso image out of it. Then, I burned that image with Nero. Do you have the latest version of it?

That's the least I can do...

No, but they all provide the same information. Setting up for burning a bootable cd is basically identical among CDRwin, Nero and EZCD. No matter which one you use, there are only certain things you should look out for. I'm using Nero 5.5.5.4 by the way. When you start the wizard, just select "iso(bootable)" from the left panel and it will give you a bunch of options to choose from (i.e., no emulation).

HP has burning software (RecordNow) out on their site to take the place of EZ CD Creator. I used it to backup my XP CD (used the "make an exact copy" part). When I used my CDROM for the source and my CDRW (9110i) for the burner it didn't work, but when I used the CDRW for both the source and burner, I got a good copy.
