I've got the Klipsch Promedia 4.1 speaker system. I got the fronts and the rears going just fine. However, I'm wanting to hook up these other small speakers i have in a nearby room to the computer. Can i just "double up" and put two sets of speaker wire coming out of the front channel? Or what's the best / easiest way to do this? Thanks for any ideas!

yeah, you can double up.. although you're going to notice a deterioration (sp?) in sound quality. I would say that it will sound best how it is.. adding more speakers and splitting up the sound is only going to make it sound worse.

maybe there's like a way i can split them off... so when i want just the fronts and surrounds on, i can have that, but when i want the ones in the other room on, i can just easily do a switch over or something... I don't necesarily want them to be playing at the same time.

sounds possible.. not sure what the best method of doing this is though..

just try splitting it at first, check out how it sounds. who knows-- maybe it wont sound that bad and will work well enough for you.

if not-- try something different.

I think it should work fine, although it will be possibly more quiet, and the quality will be lessened a bit, like RalliSpec said. You can hook up 30 speakers to that system, but they'll all be sharing the same few contacts, so your signal won't be any stronger - you'll just be splitting it up.

In other words, it's worth a shot.
