I am about to get an Xbox 360 that I would like to hook up to my computer. Does anybody know if this is possible? I would like to use my monitor, audigy2 sound card, and my logitech 5.1 speakers. I have called several local gamestops and nobody there could help me. Thanks for any responses.

connect the 360 directly to your monitor's component inputs, then connect the audio to your soundcard's line-in. you're only going to get 2.0 sound from it that way, though. getting the DD5.1 from the 360 to work would be quite a chore, and may not even end up working. easiest way to get it to work is if your speakers have a optical input and can decode Dolby Digital. otherwise, I'd just use a stereo RCA to minijack adapter and connect directly to the speakers.

Looks like I can hook the 360 to my monitors component inputs and the optical input to my PC speaker system. Then I can just switch input modes on the monitor's and speaker's front panel. Thanks Raduque and Fishy007.

They make a VGA cable for the 360 I'm pretty sure. I take it though that there isn't any 6 channel analog outputs for it?
