Hello,

Now I have a router supports 11b and 11g. Plan to buy another one but do not know
if it is possible to make them working together. We have only one IP address coming in
but have 3 computers at home. One of them has trouble to use wireless card so I wonder if
using another router and the original network card will be OK. If possible, anything I need
to know. I am not familiar with configuring router.

Thanks for your advice.

AFAIK, only if your new router can be configured as a Client. (Acts as a "fancy" wireless card) Then it should be able to connect to the main wireless router which acts as the Gateway.

Buying another Router will not solve your problem.

If you can not make the computer working with Wireless Card (Did you try USB)?

You can connect the computer to a switch and plug into the Switch a Wireless bridge like the Linksys WET11. Such a unit does not need drivers thus it is independent of the computer.

Not sure why you want a second wireless router.

One IP address is good to work with one router to which you can connect many computers, 255 I think.
