Is it possible to get the hard drive dock to shut down with the computer?

Whenever I shut down my computer, the hard drive dock doesn't shut down with the computer. I'll have to manually press the power button or the hard drive keeps on spinning. Is it possible to get the hard drive dock to power off with the computer?

Does it run on 12v by chance? You could have it be powered directly by the computer's PSU.

Or if it uses a special AC adapter that outputs multiple voltages, you could have a small power outlet box that also has a relay, then have the PSU power the relay. When PSU turns off, it cuts the power to the drive.

Only with doing some kind of electrical DIY project yourself using relays as said by Red Squirrel.
