is it possible to get text msg alert on a cellphone when some1 emails me?

my have an yahoo email. was just wondering if it's possbile to get text message alert on my cell phone when someone emails me at my yahoo email address?

Spam to a cell phone is illegal. Once the company gets caught, they won't do it again.

edit: so you'll just get the notice of the spam to your email....... no biggie.

Because if you're logged into Yahoo Mail, that user@yahoo.com is your email, user is your Yahoo ID, so how would they not know that?

you have to add a mobile device...pick the carrier, etc

alright, i just sended an email to myself and my cell didn't get the alert. i might have did something wrong with the last step, the filter thing, what am i suppose to filll in here?

is that the right picture? you need to fill something out

give it a name like "tomyphone"

then choose what emails you want forwarded...'from' someone...or some word in the email, etc.

then check the mobile device checkbox
