Two things really...

1) When selecting something, IE has this annoying habit of selecting crap you didn't want to. i.e.:
"{q}stuff I dont care about

stuff I want

more crap{/q}"

if I try to select "more crap" I end up selecting "more crap{/" how do I make it only select the part I drag the mosue over?

2) Is it possible to make IE open up a new window as a new process? I hate it when I've opened 10 different windows, then IE crashes, and all 10 of them die on me. If I start 10 instances of IE, then only the one will crash.

Dunno, but instead of my own thread I'll just post here

PLEASE HELP

How the hell do you get IE to remember your window sizes?

Like when I click on the quick launch bar I want IE maximized. When I'm browsing I want to be able to hit shift-left click or "open in new window" and for that window to be a certain size. I normally get it to work, but ocassionaly it gets screwed up and I can never get the bastard fixed. I thought it was CTRL-left click on the X but that isnt working. Everytime I click open in a new window it's almost maximized. Damnit it's driving me nuts.

i can usually get everything that i want selected. it's just a long process with holding shift and using my mouse.

as the the window resize, you can make it open maximized all the time by right-clicking on the shortcut in the quick-launch and choosing always maximized from Properties, Run->maximized.

i don't know how to keep it a certain size when you open a new window, mine does it automatically.

I'd like to know the answer to this also. I depend on the status bar on IE and it's annoying having to turn it on every time.

Using the <shift> button, you can save the settings for your IE windows. :) <shift> <click and drag> <unclick> <let up off the shift button>. Close the window and reopen the link, and there ya go :)

nik (believes it works with maximizing as well?)
