Is it possible to get addicted to ibuprofin?

Since, I don't know how long it would take the body to normalize after drug cessation, it would be hard to say...

I think the side effects of chronic use wuld be far worse than any withdrawal like effects might be. The only physical "addiction" aspect I can foresee is a short-term increased inflammatory response without the presence of the drug.

I don't think so also.

But, if you did, what purpose would it serve? It's a painkiller and fever reducer right? And it's not even that strong right?

Edit: w00t, 1,000th post 😀 😛 😉

If so, that's the wussiest addiction ever.

lol.....imagine the meetings....
Hi, my name is Jack and I'm an ibuproholic. It's been 3 weeks since my last Advil, and I can safely say every day has been better than the last. You know, back when I was at my worst and I was blowing pharmacy workers for 'profen....

..And I am Jack's wasted life.

Just last week I was blowing my dealer for a handful of caplets. I was fresh out of gelcaps and it was all I could get...

Hi my name is Joe, I'm 18 years old, and finishing high school, i started the day I got injured in school, and popped one. I felt great, and then popped another and another. Now I polish a bottle in 2-3 days. The pharmacy won't sell them to me, and I have to stand outside and get someone else to buy them for me. I need my fix.
