Is it possible to get ADC Student discount and Education discount at the sametime?

I am thinking about selling my powerbook and buying a new one. After viewing this forum, I learned about the ADC Student Developer discount and can't believe I missed out on it when I first bought mine. My question is whether I can use the ADC discount as well as the educational discount I get for being a college student. Any information on this would be most appreciated so I can figure out what to do.

Thanks.

Ahh, thanks for the clarifications. I'm glad I found this out before I went through with it. I will have to think about it more now. Thanks again for the information.

The ADC discount is well worth it. You'll save a bit more money than the normal education discount (even after the $99 fee to join the ADC), and on top of that, you'll get the latest copy of OS X (Tiger 10.4) when it comes out in the first half of next year---that in itself is a $130 value.

Also, right now, Apple has the Cram and Jam promotion where you get a $200 rebate if you buy an iPod with an Apple notebook. So if you sold the iPod, there'd be more money to save.

FYI: Cram and Jam is not valid with an ADC purchase. It is for regular edu purchases only. I only know this because I verified this with apple's ADC guys after I purchased my 15" PB through them. If you want cram and jam, just buy edu and buy an iPod edu. Powerbook+iPod work out to be about the same price either way you purchase... mise well not waste your ADC purchase.

As long as the developer connection membership: 1 year.

Once you've expired, you can renew for $99.. actually cheaper than buying the OS seperate if you're gonna buy it anyways.
