You can get plenty of laptops financed around $50-60 month, but I'm wondering if anyone knows where you can get a decnt machine (14" display, 1ghz, 356mb, 30gb, etc.... that will do 1280x024 when hooked up to a monitor (only needs 1024x768 on the LCD)) for under $40/month. Does such a creature exist?

dell has the 2600 for $34/mo only 256 megs ram and its a 1.2ghz celeron.

EDIT: The low interest rate from Dell is 13.99%, you should be able to put it on a credit card for less.

$35 a month for how many months?

36 months x $35 = $1,260 (plus interest)

48 months x $35 = $1,680 (plus interest)

Can you wait until the end of September to buy a laptop? It's the end of the 3rd quarter and Dell should have some KILLER HOT DEALS out there on desktops and laptops.

Dell does that? I'm not in a rush to get one. I can wait a bit if they're going to have some good deals. I was thinking 36 months and I'd probably pay it off sooner, but I don't want to be obligated to pay it off sooner.

yep, dell does finance. Prepare to be raped in interest though. 13.99% is only for excellent credit.

Yep Dell does offer financing to individuals (you don't have to be a company) but they DO RAPE YOU!!!! I am speaking from first hand experience.

If you have good credit make a decent income and have low debts I would suggest getting a credit card with 0% for 12 months and no annual fee. This probably isn't possible since your budget is only $35 a month but you will SAVE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in pure evil interest. A good all around laptop usually costs $1,500 which equals monthly payments of $125/mo if you were to pay it off in 1 year.

When Dell has the next round of SIZZLIN' HOT DEALS it'll be in the Hot Deals forum and in my sig.

Another option is to buy a laptop from Best Buy and use their financing.
