Is it possible to fix the cone on a speaker?

I've got pair of some old speakers (some old pioneer loudspeakers). 1 of them works fine, but on the other there is a problem on the woofer.

Around the edge of the speaker (where the cone attaches to the frame) the cone is no longer attached. Is there anything I can do to fix this? or should I just live with it?

I thought before I had seen one of my friends fix a problem like this by using some type of tar or something...

Sure it can be re-coned. I have had it done for about $50 each. R
