Is it possible to extract sound files from flash?

My next animation assignment is a dialogue shot, and I want to do a Christopher Walken line from the SNL cowbell skit. I found this neato soundboard

but I need to rip the sound from it. How do I do so?

It's been over a decade since I've recorded any sounds on my computer. But, can't you just use the sound recorder that comes with windows and saves it to a .wav file? (or whatever options have been added since Windows 95.)

I have no clue about how much quality you'd lose in doing so.

Also, be careful of issues regarding copyright - you mentioned this is an "assignment" - school assignment? Make sure your use doesn't violate either copyright laws, or perhaps plagiarism.

if you have an x-fi soundcard, you can do it manually with the creative sound recorder.
