I have a Rosewill RNX-EasyN1 USB wireless adapter but I can't install the drivers becaue my system can't open the exe installer. A window just pops up with a red X and it's blank. I tried the exe on another computer and it works, so i'm wondering is it possible to extract the files out of it and then direct Windows to the folder to pick up the drivers?

winrar usually works better than 7-zip

btw you either just gave my vm a virus or the driver installed fine (without wlan util because those sux) on my win7 32bit boxen. it looks like it threw something in the temp dir for a brief second or two.

so the link works here. lol. damn now i gotta revert snapshot

if winrar or 7zip does not work and you say it worked on another computer you can on that other computer go to start run type in %temp% this will open up the temp folder, delete all the files in there run the installer and it should create a new folder with the drivers in it. then you can copy that and used it on the machine that the install will not run on
