ok so i overclocked my first computer about a month ago. i thought i did everything by the book, but maybe i was wrong. a little info on the system:
8rda+ with xp 2100 (0247 if that matters) and samsung pc2700 ram 512.
i was able to get my system stable (or so i thought) at 13.5*180 with 1.8v at 48C . i ran prime95 for over 13 hours with no errors. so i decided to run the system at 13.5*178 = 2403 (just because ive heard that you should run a few fsb slower then where to topped out). but lately my comp has been crashing, so i first tested the ram with memtest, ran 25 loops no errors. which led me to beleive it must be my cpu, so i tried to run prime again last night and it crashed after 4 hours. i tired taking it down and different combination of multi and fsb, but it just freezes up. i have no idea whats going on, i thought someone might be able to help..
thanks

My Radoen 9700 Pro did not like my 8RDA+ setup with 2100+.I went te Intel route and all works fine.I would get lockups in 3D mark 2001SE and 3DMark03 with overclocking. Some people have reported problems and a few have not encountered any with the Radeon.I don't know if that has anything to do with it since you ran it fine earlier. Is there anything in the bios you might have changed?.

thanks guys.. my next move would be to go to stock speed, right now im trying it slower speed 2339, i will also get the new bios before going back to stock just to make sure its not the bios.. and yea it was 1.81v actual using MBM..
