Is it possible to daisy chain routers???

Hi everyone,
My girlfriend's family has an existing router with a password on it. They are jerks, so would it be possible to connect our OWN router to the existing one (through CAT5)???? So then we can get wireless access without talking to them ? Thanks in advance!

Seriously -- you're playing with fire. The best answer to social problems is usually to solve it via proper communication channels rather than technological workarounds. That being said, revive this thread when her parents find out so we all know how things went down.

Well, I think I'm just going to scrap the idea. I don't think they would care if we did it, its just a lot of work. She is going to be moving out in a few months anyway. Thanks though! And about her parents, there are no proper communication channels :-/
