Is there any way to take a laptop LCD and splice it into a regular VGA cable and hook it up to a PC? Ive always wondered this.... Im probably just being stupid I know

Physically possible? Yes. Easily done ? NO. It would require alot of engineering, luck and a mastery of soldering, wiring, stripping etc..... Probably only something you want to do if its nuclear winter and the unavaliability of parts leaves you canabalizing laptops.. lol

lol exactly why i said VIRTUALLY impossible. I wish it was eaiser though, LCD panels would be so nice to mount on walls.

possible? yes. cheap? no. might as well buy a desktop panel.

as for the wall... don't LCD TVs mount on the wall, assuming you have proper installation hardware?

of course 🙂

Like I said i was just wondering how easy it would be to use laptop LCDs since i ALREADY have them. Buts its way too hard to even give a second thought.
