Is it possible to connect several USB devices through hubs to several computers

Hi,
Thanks for looking in.

Just wondering really -
If I wanted to connect, say, 3 USB devices to, say, 3 computers, would I just be able to link up [4 port] 2 hubs? So I don't have to keep un/plugging devices

The only other option would be to use a KVM+usb Switch, but I'm not sure if it would be possible to do as above.

Would it?
