Is it possible to connect Classic Composite (RCA) cables to a Modern Display?

Hi everyone,

I'm curious if there is anyway to connect classic game consoles (or old home video equipment) or basically any device which uses composite RCA (haha, or as I call them, yellow-white-red) cables to a modern display that only has inputs for HDMI, Component RGB, VGA and DVI.

I recently purchased the Samsung Touch of Color 24" HDTV / Monitor:

Perhaps there is an adapter cable that has universal female RCA, so you can just plug classic devices right into that.

I searched Google for related terms, and did find a few adapters, but most of them received poor user reviews, so I was curious if any tech savvy users here on AnandTech (and we have a lot of those) have had any luck with a certain adapter or solution.

For the record, it's the not end of the world if nothing works; I didn't buy this display just to force ancient technology upon it! Just thought it would be nice to be able to bring out the old equipment every now and then.

Any tips, help, ideas are greatly appreciated,
Best Wishes,

How about buying a receiver and speakers? If you get the right kind of receiver, you can have it covert composite video to newer connection types. 🙂
