Is it possible to buy a Toyota or Honda below MSRP?

Is here a way to avoid that BS where the salesman leaves you at the table and goes back to talk to the manager, and leaves you hanging for 30 mins?

Contact the dealers by email, negotiate through email, find your best deal by asking for their best (i.e. invoice price) then go to the dealer with the best price with financing already lined up or cash. Did this with the Accord I bought......

MSRP? for most cars, i think you should be able to get invoice or below

do your shopping online, and email lots of dealers across your state, and just correspond with them through email. let them fight for your business...

that's what did...i got an offer from dealer, that no other dealers would match...so i went into that dealership and just bought the car. no haggling.

-edit-
EndGame beat me to it 🙂 btw, i bought an accord too

When I purchased my Civic, the MSRP was 16,500. Decided to only spend 15,000 so I called the local Honda dealer and told them I could get it at another dealership for 15,000 and asked if they could price match. When the salesperson said no I told him thanks and hung up. About 2 minutes later my phone rang and it was the same salesperson telling me that we had a deal 😀

I would do the same thing as the previous few posters. Edmunds.com will allow you to find the car you want, find the dealers nearest you, and submit for quotes via their simple form.

Here is a plan.... Last day of the month..... Have your car picked out and the price you want to pay for the car at the dealership. Go to a Credit Union and get a loan for that new car in full amount including what it may costs with Tax. Have check in hand when you get to the dealership. Tell them take it or leave it and don't give in for even 500 dollars extra for them.
