hey,
i would like to know whether it is possible to build an air condition at home? if yes, how can i and will it turn out to be more expensive than getting one from the market.

Building something like a major appliance from parts is rarely cheaper than buying the whole unit already assembled.
What a wonderful world it would be if the sum of the parts always equaled the price of the unit.......😉
Yes, you could do it. Get a Grainger catalog. and go to it!
Or try Johnstone Supply.
I doubt it would be cheaper.

Give the man a cigar. Just buy one, dude. Aside from the cost of the parts themselves, you need specialized equipment to handle the refrigerant. Buy one.

Johnstone will be cheaper than grainger. Trust me 🙂

It would be cheaper just to buy a unit then build one in 99.9% of the cases. To get it cheaper, you may be able to swipe the compressor out of a refrig that someone is tossing.
