Is it possible to bridge a D-Link DI-624 and a DWL 900AP?

I have the DI 624 connected to my cable modem, and I'd like to use the DWL 900AP to extend the wireless signal to my desktop (using a TrendNet PCI wireless card). However, nothing I've seen online has said anything about the 900AP's ability to act as a bridge or as an AP client, and I'm beginning to get discouraged. I realize the 900AP is an older access point, but it seems silly that it would be useless in this kind of situation.

I also have a D Link 704P (router), if that could be used.
