Is it possible to be allergic all of a sudden to all starches?

I noticed after I eat rice or fries I get itchy all over my body, sometimes its my legs, sometimes its my arms and then sometimes its my buttocks area.

Is this normal for a 23 year old to all of a sudden become allergic to this type of food? I can't say for sure if it's starches alone that get me itchy but I've been noticing it's far more apparent lately after I eat lunch/dinner.
 
I suddenly became allergic to raisins when I was in my mid 30's. Used to eat lots of them as a child, now they make my throat swell.
