After reading about 5.6" LCD screens for your vehicle in the HD forum, I realized that you can buy 12"-14" LCDs for about $20 on egay. So, how difficult would it be to attach a laptop TFT to a SVGA video card, or would it require a DVI Input? Is it just a matter of connecting wires to a SVGA Input cable to the Input wires on a laptop TFT, or do you have to do a total electronical transformation to get it working with a standard video card? If there was a way to do this without a lot of work, it might be very useful for vehicles, etc rather than using those 5.6" LCDs that are very poor quality. Just a thought...

Yes. The vast majority of laptop LCD panels have a proprietary digital interface. Not to mention power supply, etc.
