Is it possible to add text to a pdf file inside Acrobat?

Hi, I am trying to fill out some forms that are in pdf format. I have the full version of Acrobat but I am not sure how to add text into an existing pdf file. Please lmk if this is possible

If you have a PDF editor that would be easy as if you are editing and filling up an ordinary text document.

Should be a box on the tool bar with a +T in it, that'll do ya.
