Is it possible to add my mother's address to my DEBIT card?

As like a verified address? So that when I do check out at an online store I can ship to my mother's address without any problems? How would I go about doing this? How would they verify it anyway? Will they need my mom to fax things over and what not? Thanks in advance.

no, you can only have one address associated with your debit card. this is the address that your bank statement comes to.

I never had a single problem shipping to a different address. I have never added another address either...

This goes for my debit card as well as my credit card... granted I put the same name and phone number...

I know that you can add alternate shipping addresses to your credit card.

Yep, I don't see why it would be different for a debit card which uses one of the major credit card logos like Visa or Mastercard.

Just send a letter to the issuing bank requesting to put the alternate "authorized" shipping address on that account. Done.

That's what I was thinking. Every time I've ordered online there's always been a billing address and a shipping address to fill out.

Every store CAN handle it, but not every store WILL do it. Some stores out there will only ship to the billing address on record with your CC/debit card company/bank in an attempt to reduce fraudulent orders.

You can definitely do it with credit cards, you just call them up & say you want to add an authorized address to the account.

I have 3 or 4 addresses listed as valid shipping addresses on my CC.
