Is it possible to "add" hard drives to an existing RAID array?

Hello everyone.

I'm running 2 Western Digital 40 Gig h/d's in a Striped RAID configuration. I was wondering if it was possible to "add" two more hard drives to my exisitng array? And if it is possible, how would you go about doing it and what size h/d's should they be (i.e. 2 more Western Digital 40 Giger's)?
