Is it possible to add a fan to a slot 1 mobo without the cpu?

The reason I ask is that I have a twin mobo. I'm using the socket 370 now and the slot 1 is unused. I'd like to add a slot 1 fan, but can i without the cpu? If so what's a good one?

any particular reason for wanting to do this??
is the fan to give extra air flow to to fc-pga heatsink? :frown:

i guess i'm thinking another fan wouldn't hurt, but maybe it's overkill?
