Is it possible that AIDS will someday become airborne?

With all these new high tech drugs and safe sex programs is possibe that it could mutate into something like the flu but kills you? yes? no? why or why not?

anything is possible I suppose, but AFAIK, it needs bodily fluids to survive, and there arent any bodily fluids in the air...er...well not enough I dont think

If it could mutate into an airborne virus it probably won't be remotely similar in structure to AIDS, and therefore would probably be called something other tan that. Oh, and the flu can kill you. You'd die faster from the flu than you would AIDS (which doesn't kill you)

I think many things are indeed possible, but I highly doubt it.
Oxygen kills HIV virius and for it develop a mutation that would change that asepct would be improbable I believe.

Any organism (such as a virus) can certainly mutate and evolve over time, but for the HIV virus to become airborne, there would have to be not just minor mutations, but major changes to the structure of the virus itself. That's not likely to happen over a relatively short time. It's more likely that other diseases (such as SARS) will start evolving and becomming more of a threat because of global travel and the global marketplace.
