Is it actually possible to have sex with a girl and still be 'friends'? I know we've all run into this scenario, what is the typical outcome that you see when friends become friends with benefits?

You like to just be cut and dry, either hit it, or not mess with it at all?

It sort of works out around here. Except the girl thinks she's your friend and you think she's an orifice. Does that count?

A better solution would be to just find some other girl to fool around with. FWB always ends in a disaster due to jealousy on some level.

Or because most of the people who play around like this are dumbass teenagers?

It's entirely possible, but only when BOTH parties have clear understanding of what their "relationship" means. Few years ago I was seeing three girls as "friends with benefits" and made sure that we all had clear understanding of what we are to each other.

no, despite what people say.... women are wired to be either 1 night stand whores, or permanant girlfriends, and there aint no middle ground. if you think there is, then youre wrong.

People are not socialized that way. It's really not possible in my opinion. I've never encountered the scenario without seeing what *I* would consider an emotional impact.

I think that sex ALWAYS has a significant pschological impact, even for porn stars... there's an emotional psychological reason people engage in sex, it can't be done without some type of emotional psycological involvement and this will inevitably have impact on the 'friendship'...

You haven't met the right people or are not one yourself if you don't think it is possible. I gurantee it is. I have had friends that we used to share benefits and are still friends to this day. Very close ones actually.
