You know the (4) boot floppies for win2000..ok? It would be quicker to use my Zip100 to boot up on if ness.

Question, he said it is out of the question, not possible..is this right??

Thanks

If there is a setting your BIOS to allow your system to boot from the Zip Drive then you could probably do it, but why do that when you can just boot directly from the Win2k CD? It would be way faster than booting from floppies or a Zip Disk.

If it's listed as a boot option then it can probably be done, but I've never tried it with my Zip before so don't quote me on that.

Nah, I don't think u could put the 4 on a ZIP disk, u would have to look at like the .inf or .ini files or something like that on the floppies and see if it pointed to anywhere peticular and change it according, which doesn't exist to my knowledge. Besides, u should have no problem with booting from the 2000 CD.
