Is it possible for your bad cholesterol to be too low?

when i was a kid, i had a "bad" cholesterol level of under 100 so they couldn't even give me an exact number.

yes it can be too low. if you don't have enough fat in your system a lot of things can go bad. lipids form part of your membranes, myelin for your nerves, etc. having too low of a cholesterol can be very bad... but it would have to be very very low.
