Is it possible for me to overclock my CPU?

My specs are in my sig. When I go to my bios there aren't any options for cpu speed and memory speed adjustment, and I tried flashing the bios but it says something like "motherboard not compatible with bios". The bios matches the motherboard down to the letter, but some of the ports are missing like the svideo port and digital audio port. It is an E-machines which I have made alot of upgrades to, but the mobo came from e-machines. Do you think they modded the mobo so nobody could flash the bios so that nobody could overclock? Will it ever be possible for me to overclock on this mobo?

Most likely

Yes, use software to do it, like Clockgen. Not sure what some good software would be, or what would be compatible with what you have, maybe someone else can help with that.

Just be careful or you may end up with a big door stop. I personally will not attempt to mod the MB of retail PCs. Get a new MB and CPU if the old unit cannot meet your needs.

Ok, I downloaded ClockGen, but it won't let me selelct settings individually. When I move the slider up, all the settings move up (pci, agp, mem, fsb, cpu). I can't select them individually for some reason, and there is nothing to adjust the voltages with.

Bump.

Does anyone know why ClockGen is doing this?

Your motherboard must not have a PCI/AGP lock. Or you may have missed a setting in Clockgen that lets you adjust them individually.
