Is it possible for me to buy either the new ATIx1950xt stock cooler, or maybe one of those HIS iceQ coolers?

Do you think I could get their support to sell me one or something? I can't believe there's no external exhaust style coolers available for my x1900xt.

I think for now at least, there are no options for what you are looking for... You aren't the first to ask, and won't be the last. The best quiet cooler for the X1900 series is the VF900 IMO. Your choices are simple: noisy stock that exhausts hot air out the back or quiet that doesn't. Both are effective, but not ideal.

ICEQ = Arctic Cooler Silencer. Look it up on newegg.

The Accelero X2 is the only cooler Arctic Cooling sells seperately for the X1900 series.

I think he means the Silencer 5 Rev. 3. It can mount on the X1900's--munky did it--but the copper doesn't cover the ram sinks appropriately. Still though, quiet and cool enough for stock frequencies.

Still not the same cooler that is on the IceQ3, and a bad idea to mount a cooler with out RAM cooling...

Hmmm... I dont think that was me. But I did try both Zalmans and the Accelero on a x1900xt, and decided to keep the Accelero. Sure, it blows hot air on the mobo, but my chipset temps were about the same with the Zalmans too, except that the gpu temps were lower on the Accelero.
