I'm wondering if I should try to use multiple domains to keep my email addresses free of spam...

Is it possible for them to have their spamming prog send to all users on a particular domain, like sort of a *@domain.com thing?

I mean, if they don't know all the addresses, they just know the domain, and maybe one address on that domain. Then can they send emails to the unknown addresses too?

I hope one of you can understand what I'm trying to say

I don't believe so. But that's mainly becuase I don't see how the mechanism would work.

Then again, I have been wrong before, Minendo did end up losing his virginity.

No, the way they work is to generate a million individual emails and try them all to see which ones don't bounce, e.g.

asmith
bsmith
csmith
....
zsmith

ajones
bjones
....
zjones

...

Yep.

If you only want to receive e-mail sent to valid e-mail addresses then turn off your catch all.

Which control panel are you using?
