Yes, I've done it before. There are shareware/freeware programs out there you can download. I forgot where, but it shouldn't be too hard to find them.

 

From raw DOS or a Windows command prompt? For the latter just type "my.mp3" at the command prompt. It works under Win2k. If that don't work type "start my.mp3"
