is it possibe to boot from a usb thumb drive?

instead of lugging around a portable floppy disk , i was wondering if it is possible to put dos on a sandisk cruzer thumbdrive and boot from it?

look in the bios of your laptop for a "boot to usb" option if its disabled, enable it.
