Is it possable to run windows CE on a old 386 or 486?

Windows CE is not for retail sale....it's only preloaded on OEM FlashROMs for WinCE Devices. It is also specially complied for the processors that it runs on...Hitachi SH-3 Hitachi SH4, MIPS, and Intel StrongARM. I don't think there is a compile for Intel 386.
