to have 2 eithernet cards and hook the both up to a hum on an already shared conection and basicaly have twice the bandwith to the one computer? i dont think so but heck if i can have 2 computers getting 200k downloads why cant i combine it onto one computer?
 
It's possible.. if you have multiple connections coming in from your DSL/Cable provider. Otherwise you are just sharing the bandwidth that is allotted to your connection.
