Mom jeans are different than skinny/tapered leg jeans.

Mom jeans aren't about style, they're about comfort from a guy/gal that doen't care what people think.

The latter is about trying to catch the eye of others. The trend is painful when it's a dude wearing cropped colored denim...like red or burgundy. I didn't specify who they are trying to attract because wearing that stuff in my high school would have gotten you beat up.

It is a trend that needs to stop.

I think some men could use wearing more fitted clothes, but yea that looks awful.

Men's skinny jeans aren't cut the same as women's skinny jeans btw. It's unlikely any given guy is wearing their girlfried's.

We have a kind of jean called a "boyfriend fit" that is designed for women, but supposed to look like men's jeans. They really don't look like men's jeans though. I can't pretend I understand what's going on in fashion these days.

The only times I've encountered it going the other way around is when a guy is so skinny he can't find men's jeans that fit.

Boys department.

Everything about that is awful. The hair, the hat, the shades, the fuckin scarf!
The goddamn pedo mustache. Just shoot them both.

Well when you're used to gobbling each others knobs like these two, I guess it's "normal".

Although, I'm not sure what you should do when everyone is already certain. Dig deeper I guess.

I'm sorry, but there is no cool story here, bro. TL;DR
