Is it pansted or depansted?

I disagree with Pantsed. To pants is to put on, to depants is to remove. 🙂

Example, do you think deplaning is getting on, or off an airplane?

Urban Dictionary indicates about 10 times as much activity for pantsed as depantsed. The relelvant Wikipedia entry not only doesn't list depantsing as an alternative word, but specifically dismisses it under "Etymology".

Also, the fact that Urban Dictionary is the more reliable source for this makes me laugh.

Pantsing, pantsed is past tense, and pants---in this use--is present tense.

I cannot believe that anyone would actually think a grammar school bully tough-boy gang would actually say to themselves, "Let's go depants that dweeb."

Sorry.....they say "Let's pants that know-it-all nerd over there."
