Both are as correct as the other, which is to say neither are correct. The first character in his name is one of those with no roman equivilant.

The first consonant ('Ayin or Alif, don't remember which) has no Roman equivalent. The first vowel is a short U. Pronunciation may vary according to geography, but in standard Arabic it's Usama.
