Is it okay to put two crts next to each other?

I am a little concern putting two monitors next to each other.. you can see it especially, if you turn on a monitor while the other one is already on.

The only concern is EMI between the two. That depends a lot on the shielding quality built into the monitors. Yesterday I worked on a client's systems which have two Iiyama 19-in monitors side by side - less than 1/2 in apart - and it presented no problems at all. EMI is somewhat akin to witchcraft - the best way is to try it and see.

It should be totally safe to put 2 monitors beside each other... I am doing it as we speak... don't worry about it...

Just dont put your computers subwoofer right next to your monitor, lol, When they make that weird thing on the monitor if the second one is turned on. . . dont worry about.

I've been running 2 monitors for about a year and a half now. I did have some interference problems when I ran one monitor @ 100hz and one @ 85hz. When I did 100/75 it was ok. Now that I have a dualhead card, I can run both @ 100hz with no flickering.

My brother uses 2 NEC 21" monitors on a dual head setup and it works fine for him... No problems at all, and they practically touch they are so close together 🙂
