Is it ok to watch Hot Tub Time Machine 2 before Hot Tub Time Machine?

2 is on Amazon Prime, but I haven't watched the first one yet. If I watch them out of order will it still be funny? Will I disrupt the space time continuum?

No I don't think there is much of a story that you're missing out on by starting with Hot Tub Time Machine 2.

Its not like watching the 4th Harry Potter or the 3rd Hobbit movie.

Yeah, I couldn't even get past the introduction (Where Are They Now?) portion of the second movie before turning it off. I've seen the first movie a few times, and it's still kind of fun. I think it helps that it has a bit of 80s nostalgia fun mixed in.
