Is it ok to use more voltage then 1.8v on a Barton?

I was wandering if it is ok to use more voltage then 1.8v on a barton 2500+ I mean like 1.85v
Is it safe or to dangerous?

plz guys give me your experience and ideas I really need it

Well, alot of that depends on your cooling setup and how long you want that chip to last. On air, no, on a good water system maybe. If you only intend on using it for 6-9 months and don't care if it dies after that then yeah it's ok. Personally I do not go past 1.8.

If you are only considering 1.85, have a good cooling setup and you should be fine.

with the SLK-800 with 80mm Smart Fan II 75CFM would that be enough to cool it down to 1.85v

Yes, that would be enough cooling, but I still wouldn't go above 1.80v actual. Check your vcore while your cpu is under load, and if it's significantly under 1.8v (like 1.76v), then you would be safe raising it to 1.825v or even 1.80v in the bios. If I remember correctly, the NF7-S's undervolt a bit on vcore.
